Hya!!!

Hya!                                                                                                                June 9, 2014

Okay, here's how it is. Last week really wasn't that good. Because we’re both new to the area we don't know where anybody lives. But we looked up a LOT of Less actives, previous investigators, and current investigators. And you know what?? Nobody was ever home!!!! AGH!!! That's so frustrating, by the way.

But there are some good things. 1- Irving is on track to get baptized this weekend! He's 9 years old and his parents are inactive, BUT they came to church the last two weeks!! I think Irving's baptism and everything will help them come back to church. They are a really good family.

We've been teaching Jose Luis and Alexia, friends of Irving, at the same time when we teach Irving. They also want to get baptized, but since we've been here we haven't been able to find their Dad at home until last night!! And we taught him a short lesson and he accepted what we taught and we're praying that the whole family will get baptized.

With Jose Luis, Alexia and Irving, it was really pretty awesome to teach them the first vision. When we pulled out the picture they were all so interested. And when we committed them to praying to see if Joseph Smith is a prophet they all agreed. And they all did; and, of course, they all received the answer that he is. A feeling of "suave." :D

And Saturday and Sunday we had stake conference and President Velez, my mission president, came and talked at both sessions. It was really good. I might have missed a few points, but it was still good!! And we had entrevistas after(interviews) and aside from reminding to contact and teach with authority and boldness - both which I needed to hear, he told me that if the owner of our apartment didn't want to put an air conditioner in, we could find a house with air conditioning. That's...really comforting actually. But, back to authority and boldness. After the interview, Hermana Bobadilla and I went to find a reference in Conchi, named Alberto. We never found him, but we met a lot of other people instead!! Conchi is an awesome place to make contacts, because it's all apartments and edifices, and we never know where anything is and so we ask someone random, "Disculpe (excuse me), do you know where #207 is? Oh over there? Thanks! We'd like to introduce ourselves! We're missionaries....etc.

And when we finally found the address we were looking for, it actually wasn't Alberto. It was a young family!!!!! WHOOT!! And we taught them a lesson about the plan of salvation and it was amazing.

So this week will be good :) We have a lot of work to do.

Sorry this letter doesn't have as much as I want to say, BUT we went to the aquarium today, sooo...no mucho tiempo. It was pretty cool, though. They had a fun seal show.

Gracias!! Tenga una buena semana!!

Love your favorite,
Hermana Daniels
