Buenas tardes, todos

Buenas tardes, todos :)                                                                   September 22, 2014
Pues....este semana...this week not too much happens. We let go of a lot of investigators because they weren't progressing :( It's really sad when you see someone SO good and decide not to get baptized. Like Hermano Mario.

Egh! We had a really good talk/lesson with Mario and he told us his doubts about how he doesn't want to be baptized because he knows he'll make more mistakes after and he doesn't want to keep messing up. Hermano! But we shared scriptures and testimonies and we told him to think and pray about the baptism date. The next lesson we had with him, he told us that he prayed and "no pasa nada" or "nothing happened." And so he told us "baptism, right now...no....not right now." So...who knows when, but he'll be baptized eventually. But it's funny because he comes to church every Sunday! Un dia...
We have a baptism planned this Saturday for Lucia!! She is a really good lady. I've never seen anyone change so fast! The first time we visited her she had a million questions and didn't wait to listen to what we had to say. But we could see that she really had the desire to learn and grow. She hates sin. that sounds weird, but that's basically what she has. She really wants to do what’s right. And now she knows what we share is true and when we asked her about her baptism date the other day she said, "yeah, the 27th." whoo!
We met a man named Pedro, who the missionaries had already taught. It's kind of funny and weird to teach someone that interrupts you in the middle of your testimony or lesson:
"And Hermano, Joseph Smith saw God and -"

Pedro: "Last night I had a huge cramp in my leg and I said a prayer and it went away!"
"And, exactly, Hermano we know that God answers prayers-"
Pedro: "And it was all along my leg, but I was in so much pain I yelled out my prayer"
"And Joseph Smith was an instrument in the restoration of the-"
Pedro: "And the cramp was ALLLL along my leg! And I could barely sleep that night!..."

Etc. hahahahaha that's more or less how it goes. What else...oh! Yeah. We found a house :) Beginning of October we'll start living there :) And...now that we found a house, it'll probably stop raining hahahaha. Mazatlan has pretty weird weather...maybe even weirder than Utah *gasp* shocking, I know ;)
Pictures!! finally. Oh, the family there is a less active family that is almost reactivated!! After lots of trials - and still lots of trials- The mom, Hermana Norma Zamudio, decided it was time to go back to church. And...her kids are following her example...little by little. But we had so much fun that family home evening!! I'm learning some games that are awesome FHE :D

And my companion and I have tons of fun. I'm really gonna miss her when we get transferred. Speaking of, transfers are next Monday, but I'm pretty sure they'll keep us both here. :)

And...well...I think that's all for now.
Muchas gracias todos, y espero que todo esta bien en sus vidas. Bonita Semana! Salude a todos para mi!
