El Primer Regalo 12/01/14

Well...                                                                                                  12/01/14

This week was actually pretty difficult - especially at the start. We had to let go of some investigators. Remember Aida, and the Corrales? Well... they're not progressing. The only investigator that we really have right now is Rene. He is doing awesome with the Book of Mormon. Reads everything we give him, but puts up excuses to not come to church.

Yesterday, President Velez and his wife visited our ward - the day that we had almost nobody, even though we visited quite a few less actives and investigators that said they would come.

But! One thing really awesome is that there's a less active, Hermano Ontiveros that is preparing to go through the temple! He's about 85 years old, and wants to go through and be sealed to his wife. He's going through with the ward this weekend! He's like a little grandpa!

And now for the announcement of the week:

I'm sure you've all heard of "He is the Gift." Now...if you're not going to write me, You can at least share this video with everybody :) The church has done a LOT to publish this everywhere, so make sure you help out with that :)

I already have to go, but I shall return and finish this letter

Adios!
Hermana Daniels

As I was saying... "He is the Gift." You should ALL be sharing this link:

or at least the YouTube video or however you want, but please SHARE it! I have learned a LOT this week about how much more open people are right now with Christmas, and when they hear "Jesucristo" they want to learn more. Even though we have amazing Prophets, eternal families, and the Book of Mormon, it all Centers on Jesús Christ. The people need to learn about Him!

I have gained a huge testimony of  His atonement and prayer this week...really, it's something that one has to experience, and not just take it for granted... sometimes God lets us have trials so that we ask for help. Because He can't help us until we ask. So...don't be afraid to ask, because I promise, it's what he's waiting for!

Funny things: I'm not dying of heat now. It's actually REALLY nice 65-70 degrees in the evenings and everybody walks around with sweaters and jackets....and I...would rather not use one - right now :D

Not so funny thing: We don't have a boiler. SO! Here we go with COLD SHOWERS!!! -whimper- Really...I'm so grateful for warm showers...That I don't think I'll be getting for while :D

Other things happened, but I need my camera to explain them, which I forgot in the house. So...stay tuned until next week! And you can see giant ants! Bug eating man, and the smallest Christmas tree in the world!

Have an awesome week :)
Share the gift
Send me letters

Love,
Hermana Daniels
