Feliz Año Nuevo!! 12/29/14

                                                                              12/29/14
I'm pretty sure I don't have anything new to say that I didn't say in the call to you guys - speaking of… that was actually really good. Apart from the fact that the skype connection was bad and we had to talk on the Telephone...it was still good to talk with my family :D
Awesome to hear that everyone is doing well.

We had to let go an investigator this week - Rene. The guy stopped Reading and he doesn't put forth the effort to come to church. But I'm pretty sure one day he'll get baptized.
We are also teaching a youth, Fabiola, and her mom is a less active. But her Mom, Lorena, doesn't want to let her come to church! Egh!? Wwhhhyyy....sometimes I forget that I takes time with most people to gain their trust and for them to realice what we have is true. Better said, what the Gospel has can change their lives.

But...I've learned to look for the miracles every day. Something my companion taught me. We contacted a reference Saturday night and it was crazy her change within 2 minutes.
We knocked on her door, and I asked, "are you adela?" and she said, "Yes...but who's asking!? Who told you my name!??" and she was pretty angry.
But after a minute of asking about where she's from, her religión, and her family(it's always the family that lightens them up) and after that we told her that we shared messages about how families can become closer and overcome trials. After that she told us, "come in, if you want!"
Wait...what? Come in? Your inviting us in to your house? And it was really awesome. And her house was like a Grandma's house all warm and cozy and FULL of Christmas decorations!!

Anyway...I think the same applies to daily life. Make sure you look for the Little miracles every day - because I  promise the do exist. I give you all the assignment to read Mormon chapter 9. I bet you can guess what it talks about :D

Have a good week everybody :) Try not to put too many new year's resolutions.

Love,
Hermana Daniels

YOU BROKE YOUR SHOULDER!?!?!
Ah que rollo, me mentió!!!! Okay, so you didn't break it, Congrats. What do you have to do, since you injured it? Will you be able to play baseball still?
Wait...Matt? You go by Matt now, eh? When I get back, can I call you Mateo? That's Matthew in Spanish. I think I might name my son that.

I totally looked up all the scriptures that you put on the presents! I wouldn't let all your work go to waste! My favorite was for the tic-tacs. Where do you get the idea, anyway? hahah how much time did you spend looking up scriptures? Tell Jason I say hi and I hope everything goes well with the Baby :)

We found a lupa - magnifying glass....and were waiting so, of course we had to play with it!

The weird looking stuff in the pan? That would be egg whites! When I made egg-nog, the récipe only calls for egg yokes. And My companion and I aren't ones to waste food, so egg-white egg sandwiches!!  It didn't actually taste that bad.

And the eggnog even looked normal!...even if it was a tiny bit Green at the end...I don't know why though.  :D
