Sorry, everybody, 01-05-15
I don't have a ton of time to write,
but all in all this week was difficult with the holidays and everything. And
they haven't ended!
They have another holiday on January
6th called "Día de los Reyes Magos" I think. they celebrate when the
3 wise men brought the Gifts to Jesus. So, the kids get even more gifts :D Or
if they didn't get something for Christmas, they might get it on the 6th. And
they have a huge traditional bread, "Rasco de los Reyes" and in the
bread there's a little doll, and when you cut up the bread, whoever gets the
doll has to bring tamales the next meeting. :D
This week we have a new
investigator, Fabiola, a young woman de 14 years old. She's reading, and she
came to church this week. So, that was
actually a good miracle, because the week before, her Mom didn't want to let
her come. Her mom is in-active, but got baptized at 9 years and hasn't come in
a LONG time. Feel free to pray for Lorena (the Mom) and Fabiola, the
daughter.
