Lots of Pictures! 12/10/14

Dear Family and Friends,                                                                                12/08/14

I'm gonna start this week of with pictures, because I haven't able to send some for a while.

I found a mini bible!!! It doesn't have all of the books...actually it only has like 5, but it's so funny and LITTLE!! And we have a brother in our Ward, Hermano Onitveros, who has a gigantic Libro de Mormon. So, that's what's up with this photo.

And this is the normal Spanish Book of Mormon with the giant one.

One night we were walking along, and we saw a HUGE ant army along the curb of the road. I wanted to follow it back to where they were coming from, but sadly time wasn't up for that. But they were pretty big ants.

And this is Hermano Jorge with his bugs. Apparently they're bugs that you put in water and then you drink the bug up. They start with 1 a day, and then two a day, and so on. It’s supposed to be really healthy. Mom and Dad, if you want you can look it up (I know you want to - or maybe you've already heard). But don't expect me to drink bugs when I get back :D

We bought a strand of Christmas lights and my companion says, "I wanna wrap myself in the Christmas lights!" So...I had to copy her :D It was a pretty good idea. And that Little Green thing in my hands, just so happens to be our Christmas tree :D Be jealous

And my companion did buy me a cake for my birthday. hahaha they didn't have too many options, but what can you do at 8:30 at night before your birthday?
But it was a good birthday :)

Let me explain this picture...Candles here a lot of times are like mini Fireworks. Hermana Garcia was having serious issues lighting it, so she took it the gas stove to light, and then all of a sudden, FWOOM! There's fire next to my head. Oh! Thank-you!! haha

And we managed to get a picture with the fire work candle. And the mandarin on the side of the cupcakes was a present from the girl beside me, Luisa. Just had to put that in there. Was pretty random, but funny.

veinte años...                                                                                       12/08/14

Dear Family and Friends,

Before you all go start saying the title wrong, the v in Spanish is pronounced like a b. So it's like "bainteh." Hahaha and the E is like an eeh in red. Haha and this is why I never explain Spanish...because it just doesn't work.

That's pretty weird to say...I'm no longer a teenager. At least people won't always say "aw! you're so yooouunng!" all the time. just sometimes :D
But!! Thank you everybody for the birthday wish :) I received them all with much gratitude!.

I learned so much this week. I don't really know how to write it down, so you just have to trust me. I had an interview with the Misión President this week, and...He is really good. I'm really grateful to have him for a President. He gave me some good council on staying animated and finding and teaching and finding and teaching constantly.

We found lots of people this week :D Next week I'll let you know how the teaching went.

Gosh I've got so much to learn! But this Friday all of the missionaries in Culiacan are going to sing in one of the malls. Kind of like a flash mob. It should be pretty awesome :)

Well...That's all folks!! Stay true to what you know and who you are, but always be humble and learn new things. I know this church is true and I know the Lord holds us up in our afflictions and gives courage to do the right thing - even when it might be really hard!

Love you all!!
Hermana Daniels
