So, this week was difficult first.
We walked a lot, bbuuuut didn't a lot. And we walked more :) And we were
feeling kind of bad Friday, because we felt we weren't going to make any of our
goals. But! I know that Heavenly Father blesses us for our Perseverance and
patience and diligence AND obedience. Because Sabado we found 2 new families!
We met a Lady named Betty(yes there
are people here with that name :D) and we went to her house and at first she
was just going to let us talk with her outside, but then she asked, "are
you sure it doesn't matter that it's a mess inside?" And we said it was
totally fine and we would love to have a lesson with all her family. So she let
us in! - That's a REALLY good sign when people let you in even though the house
isn't perfect. So we taught her and her 3 children and there is a lot of
potential. We'll be going back Wednesday.
The other Saturday we met someone
named Edgar and Laura. When we contacted them, they looked like they had
interest. So we went back Saturday and WOW! Hermano Edgar had read almost the
whole pamphlet and when we started the lesson y asked if he could just read a
page out loud (the page about Joseph Smith). So we explained from prophets to
the Book of Mormon, and the accepted Todo!! And the invitation to be baptized.
We are so excited for them!
And Ana Lilia!! I don't know where
to start with her because her testimony is SO strong! I've never met anyone
more prepared to change! She testified to us that the Book of Mormon is the
most perfect book and she knows this is the best for her family. I'm So blessed
to know her and teach her, but learn from her too. YAY!!
Okay, just one more miracle. Luna
came to church!!! She found us the other day and asked if we could visit her.
We went once and the second time she hid from us!! Normally when that happens,
it's a pretty big hint, that...well...they don't want it. But she came to
church! With a million questions and in Relief Society basically all of the
sisters were helping to answer her questions. It was awesome!
Okay...I think that's all for this
week...I know this work is real and that it changes peoples' lives!!
Always keep going. Always.
Especially in those moments when you feel like you can't go anymore - you gotta
keep going. The reward is so much bigger than we can imagine!!
Love you!
Hermana Daniels
