The World of 7 Drops 04/20/15

7 Gotas is the ward I'm in right now, and in English it means 7 drops...hence the title.

This week was a little hard at first. I don't, I think I fell into a rut of teaching lessons and not persons. But thanks to my companion and the scriptures I got planched!! I was reading in
D & C 3 when Martin Harris lost the 116 pages of the book of Mormon:.
 Behold, you have been entrusted with these things, but how strict were your commandments; and remember also the promises which were made to you, if you did not transgress them.
 And behold, how oft you have transgressed the commandments and the laws of God, and have gone on in the persuasions of men.
 For, behold, you should not have feared man more than God. Although men set at naught the counsels of God, and despise his words—
 Yet you should have been faithful; and he would have extended his arm and supported you against all the fiery darts of the adversary; and he would have been with you in every time of trouble.
 10 But remember, God is merciful; therefore, repent of that which thou hast done which is contrary to the commandment which I gave you, and thou art still chosen, and art again called to the work;

Maybe I haven't lost 116 pages of the scriptures, but I have messed up so many times, I still mess up, but God calls the weak to do his work. And like it says, he is Merciful! and we are STILL called to the work, with our weaknesses and everything :)

Funny story for the weak: One of our investigators gave us a bag of something called "viejitas" which are...potato things...sort of. Anyway, my companion and I are walking along and a car pulls up next to us and the guy inside says, "güera! give me two! Come on, give me 2!! Come on guera! give me 2! no, 3!" So weird...didn't have a reason not to give them to him, so I gave him a handful...then after that we gave them to every other person we saw to make new friends. It turned out pretty good, haahha. (guero or guera is somebody with lighter skin)
I can't believe this is week number #6 here in 7 Gotas. I love this ward and I've grown a ton I don't understand how the time goes by so fast, but I think that's way it is...
I hope everyone has an amazing week!!   Try not to frown to much... :)

Wow, you got more bees? I learned from the wife of our mission president that bees have something called....I don't remember. But they always have the impulse to work! Always. And in the life span of a bee - like 2 months - it helps to produce 1 tiny drop of honey. And, like the gospel, honey has enough minerals and vitamins and water that we could just live off of honey!! How cool is that?  Anyway...ya viene la carta real :D
